Endorsements

We’re excited to endorse this slate of candidates across Boston & Somerville. Although most of our members do not live in these cities, we believe that each candidate offers an opportunity for bold ideas to flourish. We want to ensure that the values we hold as a Union are offered in all places for all workers. These candidates believe the same:
  • All workers have the right to form & join a Union
  • All workers deserve to be treated with dignity & respect
  • All people deserve to be treated equally & fairly
  • All people deserve a place to call home, & the supports needed to get by
These are the values that guide our daily work, and will continue to guide us in supporting candidates at all levels of government. Our diverse geography as a Union – spanning all of New England & New York – is a unique strength that allows us to be bold with our endorsements. In turn, we hope to share lessons learned from candidates across our geography in order to foster better conditions in every state. We are happy that these candidates stand with us in support of this mission.

MASSACHUSETTS – MGM Springfield

CONGRATULATIONS! Members at MGM Springfield have officially been organized as NEJB UNITE HERE! Local 301. Despite a long delay due to the pandemic, we’re excited to be moving forward together.
