Call to Action!
Support the Workers of Hoff’s Bakery
What’s Going On:
In April 2020, Hoff’s Bakery received $1.21-Million from the Paycheck Protection Program. The bakery, estimated to be worth $16-Million, received a five-year property tax break from the city resulting in savings totaling $570,000. Despite this tax break and million-dollar bailout, not all employees were call back to work when the bakery reopened for production.
The workers of Hoff’s Bakery have dedicated 13+ years of their lives to the bakery. Now, they’re being required to re-apply for their jobs through a temp agency.
We need to stand by our neighbors and fellow workers.
